Fr Macarius was ordained in March 1993 to serve at St Mary’s Church Melbourne. His ministry was illuminated with wisdom, service, dedication and righteousness. All who came in contact with Fr Macarious were struck with his gentleness and kindness.

The Church in Melbourne and many generations are indebted to Abouna for his ministry.

The Very Reverend Father Macarius Wahba was Vicar General from 2009 – 2018, and the Registrar of St Athanasius College and served on its Council during its early years.
